Angel Fux has been selected as one of the Milky Way Photographers of the Year 2025 by Capture the Atlas, for her now-iconic double arch Milky Way image captured earlier this year in the Swiss Alps.

The awarded photograph — taken at over 3,200 meters altitude — features a rare alignment of two Milky Way arcs, stitched together from both winter and summer sky panoramas, over the snow-covered Gornergrat glacier. The image stands out not only for its technical complexity and clarity, but for the surreal, dreamlike balance it strikes between light and shadow, earth and sky.
