Can't say enough what an amazing experience it was to be able to learn from Angel! From learning to plan for locations, to composition and astro photography techniques, to creating stories with my images, my 1 on 1 with Angel was filled with a wealth of knowledge.
Everything I've learned in our session I have been able to implement in my own photography and honestly I feel like I've saved myself years of trial and error.
It has taught me to think outside of the box of conventional landscape photography. The same detailed approach she takes in her photography is the same approach she takes in teaching others her process and providing advice to elevate their work.
Many talk about the necessary tools in a photographer's toolkit and I would say what you learn in Angel's program definitely falls into one of those essential tools that you will use throughout your photography journey.

Welcome.
This is a one-to-one mentorship for photographers who feel that something is still missing in their images. Something hard to name: the gap between what you saw out there and what came home on your memory card.
Over four focused sessions, we work on building images that are technically solid and emotionally honest. Just the craft, worked carefully and at your pace.
Why do some images stay with you, and others disappear?
Most photographers have been somewhere extraordinary and come back disappointed. The image is technically fine. But it doesn't hold what was there. It doesn't carry the cold, the silence, the particular quality of that light at 3am above the clouds. Learning to capture that, and to process it in a way that preserves it rather than flattens it, is what takes the longest. It is also what makes the difference between a folder of files and a body of work you are genuinely proud of.
Why should you listen to me?
I started photographing at ten years old, in the field, not in a classroom.
The work I make today comes from high-altitude terrain, often in the kind of conditions that make you wonder why you're there. I've carried heavy gear for years, spent nights in the freezing cold, and spent forty hours processing a single image.
I do this because certain things are still out there, undisturbed, extraordinary, and increasingly threatened. And I believe that if you can show them clearly enough, people will want to protect them.
My interest in night photography wasn't random. I had tried other photography styles, but nothing clicked like this. It was the perfect mix of challenge and beauty, adventure, creativity, and seeing places that looked straight out of a dream. Plus, it was deeply fulfilling, and it pushed me to improve physically.
Not an easy path but one worth taking
This journey taught me more than just how to take good photos; it's a journey of finding one's voice, pushing beyond limits, and discovering that the greatest shots lie not just in capturing landscapes but in capturing the growth within us.
Who is this program for?
Anybody who wants to:
This program is for you if:
-
You have been photographing landscapes or night skies for a while and feel ready to go deeper into the craft rather than wider into the business.
-
You want to make images that are technically advanced, atmospherically true, and meaningful to you personally, regardless of whether they perform well online.
-
You are drawn to mountains, high altitude environments, or celestial phenomena, and want to understand how to approach them with both rigor and sensitivity.
-
You want someone to look at your work honestly, understand what you are reaching for, and help you get closer to it.
By the end of the program, you will be able to:
-
Plan an outdoor night shoot with precision, from celestial events to weather windows
-
Read a landscape and understand what it asks of you technically and creatively
-
Work in both documentary and composite modes, and know when each serves the image
-
Process your night and landscape images with full control
-
Build a coherent body of work from a series of locations or conditions you care about deeply
-
Trust your own eye, and stop second-guessing what the image needs
A note on commitment
This is a personalised, one-to-one program. I give it real time and real attention. I ask the same from you. Not in terms of hours per week, but in terms of seriousness. Bring your real questions. Bring the images you are not satisfied with. Bring the locations you keep returning to and can't quite get right.
The program works when you do. I am confident in what it offers. The rest is up to you.
The images you want to make already exist. They are out there, waiting in particular conditions, at a certain hour, in places that take effort to reach. This program helps you become the photographer who knows how to find them, and how to bring them home.
