The image is only part of its journey. Through scale, material and presentation, selected images take on a physical presence of their own—created to be lived with, returned to, and experienced over time.
THE PHILOSOPHY
From an experience to an artwork.
Many of these works begin long before the camera is raised: with an idea, months of planning, a journey into the landscape, and often a brief convergence of conditions that may never happen in quite the same way again.
Creating the physical artwork is an extension of that process. The choice of scale, material and presentation is considered in relation to each image, allowing the final piece to carry something of the experience from which it originated.
