The Pyrenees Photo Tour has just come to a close, and what a remarkable edition it turned out to be.
Led by Angel Fux, the tour gathered a full group of passionate photographers ready to explore the magic of the French Pyrenees. Over several days, participants had the chance to shoot in some of the most photogenic locations the region has to offer — from mountain lakes and high plateaus to starry nights.
The weather conditions couldn’t have been more favorable: clear skies, soft sunrises, glowing sunsets, and perfect nights for astrophotography. Each day offered a new opportunity to capture rare light, with privileged moments under the Milky Way and golden reflections at dawn.
Beyond the fieldwork, the group benefitted from tailored lectures, editing sessions, and one-on-one portfolio reviews. Each participant received personalized guidance according to their style and level, with the aim of elevating both their technical skills and creative vision.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with participants highlighting the enriching atmosphere, supportive instruction, and deep sense of connection within the group.
"I recently participated in a landscape and astro photography tour led by Angel. Don't be fooled by her tender years as she is clearly a leading light in her field - world class. It was a privilege to be able to draw on her phenomenal experience - from front to back, i.e. photographing in the field all the way to post-shooting editing. She has been extremely patient with all her students regardless of experience, extremely well prepared for every (nighttime, sunrise and sunset) shoot as well as in the classroom with her comprehensive and well designed decks. It is rare to be able to learn from a master but that she certainly is." - Indraijat Advani

"I have been to a workshop in the French Pyrenees led by Angel (arranged by Zoom Fotoreseor) from 23 - 28 May. It was a combination of landscape photography and astrophotography. Early mornings and late evenings to capture sunsets, the Milky Way and sunrise. Angel had planned each session in detail with selected locations and times. Very well prepared. In parallel with practical photo sessions, Angel shared theory, experiences and practical suggestions for each session. She is a professional photographer with a unique style and a competent teacher. Angel was flexible in her planning and changed the agenda according to the weather conditions. She was available for questions during the workshop. Her way of leading the workshop was very inspired. We also had a lot of fun. I can highly recommend Angel as a leader for photo workshops." - Christer Nilsson
